What is an SRES?
SRES®s are Realtor®s qualified to meet the special needs and concerns of maturing Americans. A national program since 1998, The Senior Advantage Real Estate Council (SAREC®) offers a specific designation, SRES®, to identify those members who have successfully completed its education program along with other perquisites. SAREC® now has SRES®s in all 50 states and Canada and adds hundreds of new members every month. With its current membership of over 7,000, it has become the sixth largest real estate designation.
An SRES® is experienced and knowledgeable in meeting your specific needs. Good real estate planning is now the most important issue for financial security. You want to make the wisest decision you can when selling a home, relocating or making any real estate investment choices. If you're thinking of selling, buying, relocating or refinancing, use the experience and knowledge of an SRES® designee to help guide you through your transactions.
By earning the SRES® designation, I have demonstrated requisite knowledge and expertise to counsel senior clients through major financial and lifestyle transitions involved in relocating, refinancing, selling the family home, buying rental property and managing the capital gains and tax implications of owning real estate, among many other issues. I have received special training, regular updates, and am prepared to offer the options and information needed in making life-changing decisions. As an SRES®, I can refer you to other professionals such as attorneys and certified public accountants who also specialize in senior clientele.
